Taramundi Furniture Store Policy:
PLACING AN ORDER
Most of our product line is special order and delivery times can range from 1 to 2 weeks or up to 8 to 10 weeks. All furniture purchases are considered special order if they are currently not in our warehouse.
These items are ordered on a customer's request and are, therefore, not returnable.
All special orders and custom orders are non-cancelable/non-returnable. A 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed special order policy form is required to place a custom order and payment in full (including applicable delivery charge) is due at the time the item ships from our facility. Any stocked items (not special or custom order) are returnable and refundable up to 5 days from delivery date. Charges may apply if any scratches or damages to item. Customer is responsible for all shipping/freight costs to return item to Taramundi Furniture warehouse.
The collections of furniture we represent are made with natural materials including various types of wood and leather. In addition, most of these pieces are hand finished. Therefore, it is normal to have some natural imperfections and they may slightly vary from photos shown on our website or from photos hat have been provided to us by our manufacturers. These variances only add character to the furniture, giving it a more unique rustic look!
It is very rare, but manufacturer defects can occur. We take special care to inspect all items thoroughly when we receive them into our warehouse and, of course, before delivering them to your home. We only represent high quality manufacturers who stand behind the quality of their products.
MEASUREMENTS
Please take accurate measurements before ordering. If your special order does not fit in your room or entryway, it cannot be returned since our manufacturers will not allow returns. Do not special order if you feel this may be a problem. It is best to contact us and we can assist you further with any concerns.
We have taken great care on our website to provide you with information about our pieces that is accurate and useful. Please notify us if you have any questions regarding pricing, color, features, dimensions, availability and special order lead times.
CUSTOM BUILT FURNITURE
At Taramundi, our high quality collection of CUSTOM MADE wood furniture is manufactured to your specifications. Our highly skilled craftsmen make each piece of your furniture by hand. This assures you that you will receive a highly unique and custom piece of furniture that is exactly like no other in the world.
Custom made furniture has a production time of approximately 8 to 12 weeks on all orders plus transit time to complete the delivery to you. Production time will vary and depends on the item(s) ordered. Our productions times are actually quite good and are usually better than most custom manufacturers.
The actual price of our custom made furniture is kept as low as possible due to the high cost of shipping.
This allows us to remain more competitive with even the larger retail showrooms. Most retail stores don't carry our style or quality of furniture.
Please remember all custom built furniture pieces are unique and we cannot guarantee that your custom piece will look exactly like the image in photos we reproduce them from. With solid wood, it is normal to have some natural imperfections. These cosmetic blemishes only add character to the furniture, giving it a more unique rustic look.
RETURNS
Upon receipt, the carrier assumes responsibility for safe arrival of the merchandise to your location. Should any portion of the merchandise be damaged apparent or otherwise, a claim must be filed with the carrier. Apparent loss or damage must be noted on the Freight Form and signed by the driver. Failure to do so will result in refusal of the carrier to honor any and all claims.
The carrier will have the necessary forms for filing. When damage is not apparent until the merchandise is unpacked, a claim for concealed damage must be filed. Upon discovery, a phone request must be made to the carrier for inspection. The carrier is responsible for concealed damage and upon request, will furnish the necessary forms. Pending claims for damaged merchandise are not valid reasons for withholding payment.
If an item that has no defect or damage, and you are not 100% satisfied with your order, you may return it for a full refund minus “all” shipping charges incurred.
Please note: If you return any item where Taramundi Furniture offered “free shipping”, you will be responsible for BOTH -the shipping charges back to the warehouse, as well as the “original shipping charges” that Taramundi incurred to ship to your location.
All returns must be requested within 3 days of receipt of merchandise and must be returned in the original packing material to prevent damage upon return. All items returned must be free from any soils or any type of damage.
Taramundi can help you set up the return freight if necessary. Any refund will be issued after the order has been received and inspected by Taramundi Furniture.
PAYMENT
We accept Master Card, Visa. and , of course, cash. ( No personal checks).
We will refund you your 50% deposit if you cancel your CUSTOM order only if production has not yet begun at that time. There is a 10% materials acquisition fee charged if your custom order is canceled after 72 hours.
